Nowadays, tablets are more popular than ordinary laptops because they are very interactive and complete devices. These characteristics allow them to do lots of new things which are not possible to do with a laptop. Furthermore, you can use a tablet wherever you are because it is small, portable and very comfortable. Its touch screen is perfect to do artwork, to design or whatever artistic work. We can also use a tablet for leisure activities like watching movies, listening to music, reading the newspaper and many other things.

However, tablets have some disadvantages. They are more expensive than ordinary laptops especially if they are made by famous brands like Apple or Samsung. They are also more likely to damage because they have a vulnerable screen. For that reason, we have to be very careful when we carry them.

In conclusion, a tablet can be a good inversion if we use it properly because it is a very useful device.

WRITING: HOW DO YOU FEEL ABOUT GETTING OLD?

Getting old is an inevitable process which will come for everybody sooner or later. When you are old you begin to have physical, psychological changes and deterioration. For example, you forget things faster than young people and you have less energy to do things. From my point of view, I do not care so much about that part of getting old because if you take care of your health when you are young, you are less likely to have serious health problems in the future. You will only have the old age ones and they should not be an impediment to have a normal life.

Furthermore, I think that getting old can have some advantages and disadvantages. Old people have a lot of free time and that can be positive or negative depending on the person. On the one hand, you have time for travelling, looking after your grandchildren, going out with friends or whatever you want to do. But, on the other hand, if you are not an active person you could become a lonely, bitter old man or woman and start to feel the negative sides of getting old.

Mobile phones have become very popular for everybody as they are not only used for making phone calls. The main advantage of having a mobile phone is that you can communicate to your family and friends wherever you are by calling or sending massages. Moreover, you can also use your mobile phone’s applications for playing games, listening to music, taking photographs, online shopping and many other things which are not related to making a phone call. 

On the other hand, there are also some disadvantages. Using your mobile phone when you are working, studying or doing an important activity that requires all your attention can be a serious problem. For example, if you look at the mobile phone while you are driving, you are more likely to have an accident.

In conclusion, a mobile phone can be a very practical and complete device but it has to be used properly when it is necessary or when we have some free time.

Why do people like using a MP3 player? Firstly MP3 players are small, portable and you can store lots of your favourite music. It is not so expensive and music can be downloaded for free from the Internet. Furthermore, MP3 players are very useful to entertain yourself when you are doing a routine activity. For example you could listen to music while you are practicing some sport or while you are travelling. On the other hand, one disadvantage is that if you listen to music too loud, you are more likely to suffer a hearing loss in the future. However, if you use the MP3 at a normal volume, you will not have any hearing problem and you could enjoy music wherever you are.
